  • Channel is outline of a path of relatively shallow and narrow body of fluid specifically its bed and banks.
  • Commonly used as;

                                             -Confine of a river
                                             -River delta
                                             -Strait
  • Natural channels are formed by fluvial process.
  • These are formed by flowing water from the hydrological cycle & flowing lava.
  •  Channels describe the deeper course through;

                                          -A reef
                                         -Sand bar
                                         -Bay
                                       -Orany shallow body of water 
  • These can be formed by  natural or human actions.
